Join us for our International Women’s Day Panel on 12th March at 7pm!
We have brought together a panel of five brilliant women from all different industries to talk about the issues women face and celebrate their success.
From discrimination, bias and stereotypes to imposter syndrome, self empowerment and the gender pay gap, they’re going to be talking about it all with our moderator and Head of Events Derrian Douglas.
Come down to Portland Hall at the University of Westminster Little Titchfield Street Campus and listen to some inspirational women and enjoy networking with some delicious food and drinks.

Petsa Kaffens is currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster, specialising in Fashion. Petsa has previously worked as the Beauty Editor for BELLA Magazine, You & Your Wedding, Galaxy and espiri, World of Cruising and Pregnancy & Birth.

Nina Goswami is currently the Creative Diversity Lead at the BBC. She project manages the award-winning pan-BBC initiative ’50:50′, which is the biggest collective action on increasing women’s representation in BBC content. She is also a Senior Producer for BBC News and has previously worked as a Senior Reporter at The Lawyer and a Reporter at the Telegraph Media Group and The Sunday Times.

Gay Bell is the Chief Exec and Founder of Platform Communications, a London-based PR firm. Platform designs and executes custom global communications programs using a blend of industry expertise and proven strategies. Gay previously worked as the Director of Technology Division at Fleishman-Hillard Europe and as the Director of Keene Communications.

Mikaela Jackson is the Founder and CEO of She Almighty, which provides careers, business and life coaching services and events for self-empowered women aspiring to be the best version of themselbes and creative careers, business and lives they love with positive impact. She has previously worked as a Mentor as The Aspire Foundation and as a Personal Performance Coach at The Coaching Academy.

Elizabeth is the CEO of the Women’s Engineering Society, a charity and a professional network of women engineers, scientists and technologists offering inspiration, support and professional development. Elizabeth established her own consulting company, graduated with an MSc in Systems Thinking in 2017 and in 2018 was appointed CEO of the Women’s Engineering Society. In 2019 she became a Member of the International Council of Systems Engineers.
