Smoke Radio Talks with Scott Mills
We are honoured to announce a brand new event for Smoke Radio! Smoke Radio Talks is an exciting programme project for the station. We are welcoming a series of influential figures to the University of Westminster, with a Q&A session followed by industry advice from some of the biggest names.
We are so excited to welcome BBC Radio 1 Presenter Scott Mills as our first speaker at this event on Wednesday 28th March at 6pm.
Scott Mills joined BBC Radio 1 in 1998, where he has hosted early breakfast, early-evenings and his current slot afternoons on Radio 1. Scott has interviewed some of the biggest stars in the world including Ed Sheeran,The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Miley Cyrus.
Rhys Gunter, station manager of Smoke Radio said: “We’ve been planning this event for a while now and I’m so happy to be able to finally announce it. We are so excited to be welcoming Scott Mills to the University of Westminster to speak at this very exciting event. It will offer the chance to students to find out more about what it’s like to work in radio and TV from one of the UK’s biggest broadcasters.”
The first Smoke Radio Talks will be hosted by Stephen Small who is the current host of Small Talk on Smoke Radio, he said: “Smoke Radio Talks is a great idea and I’m thrilled to be hosting the first one! I’m really looking forward to what’s going to be an insightful evening with Scott Mills, a radio legend.”
